Hi 😎 I watch all your top tip videos and have just watched the one with the faulty rear parking sensor not working. I have an issue with mine on my 2015 Nissan Qashqai Tekna1.5 Diesel. The problem I have is that no beeping sounds from either sensors, front and rear? I have went round the whole car and cleaned the sensors as well as pessimg and depressing the parking sensor button which is location just under the steering wheel towards the driver door. My other issue that I have is with my front camera does not work. I had purchased the car from Greenlight motors down in Blackburn. The car is on finance through the bank with Santander. Picked up the car last year in November.

So what's up.. just living life and bugger that UA-cam thing..?🙂

I called that number as I have the same issue and they told me my car was not affected by this campaign even though I am experiencing the same issue! 2017 plate qashqai…. Absolutely useless

Hi Dan I have a problem with my daytime running light strip on the left side. The light works when I lock the car, use the indicator, or use the dimming light, it only doesn't work when I set it to auto or when I turn off the lights. Then the daytime running light comes on, but only one of them works, the one on the left side doesn't. It's the Qashqai Tekna with the strip led daytime running light. Any ideas how to fix? Thanks.

Did you know that when you press and hold the unlock button on the fob all four windows will open, and vice versa with the lock button.

If you had used white spirit or paint thinners that sticky stuff would be removed in seconds and wouldn’t damage the paintwork.

Does the size of a Space saver Tire matter? My tire is a 19" but the space server tires are 16" .

My have followed your steps and found out that my fault is almost the same as yours but the only difference is that my sounder sounds great/normal, the rear sensor is disabled. Would you advise to still replace the sounder or the rear sensors. Thanks for your help

hello i make the update and now i have an issue.. when turn of my car the screen is still working for 2 minutes and when i unlock my car without start my engine the screen open autimacally .. does anyone know how to fix it

Top man I have been struggling with my QashQai for the past 2 years, now I know what I was doing wrong, a question please the screen is not great on the camera for clarity, if I was to change my headunit for a nice apple play type head unit with a much better screen, would it improve the camera quality, or is it the camera on the car that is causing the low quality thanks.

Wanted to say thanks for this. Appreciate this video is two years old and I’ve been suffering with the audio gap issue the past 3 years or so. Was at the point I was about ready to tear the stereo out and replace with an aftermarket and lose my cameras but this worked an absolute treat. Used a SanDisk 8GB stick formatted to FAT32. Three of the files were missing when I downloaded the folder from Google Drive so would recommend downloading the files one by one and placing them all upfront on the USB drive and not in a folder. Took about 55 minutes or so and after removing the USB stick took about 3 minutes to go from “remove USB” screen to the Nissan reboot. No need to have your hazards going if you’ve got the engine running but make sure to open your windows and ensure auto stop/start is turned off.

Just tried to reset my car key with this but nothing????? Still cant start the car.

Minimum speed for c/c to work appears to be 25mph which is not as good as my 2010 Renault Scenic. That worked from 20 mph which I used a lot in the school areas with a 20 mph limit.

Excellent video and good explanation thank you. I think if you own one of these cars with this sensor on it may be worth doing the wire trick every service to keep it clear save having to clear a completely blocked tube .

You put the battery in upside down because i done what you done and it didn't work so i reversed it and it worked

Formatted a 32gb USB 2 SanDisk flash drive to FAT32, downloaded the files from your link, which created 2 zipped folders. Extracted both to flash drive, roughly 3.5gb of data. Followed the instructions and installation complete after 55 mins ish. Many thanks, my X trail headunit is now much less frustrating. Upgraded from D024 to D605, no issues at all.

Is this the same process for a 2016 Juke, also do you need to leave the USB stick plugged in once downloaded to the Nissan system?

Good day i have had this issue with chassis control system fault and stop start fault pop up all at once and then all sorts of lights on my dash comes on. Have taken my car in to our garage about 4 times then it goes away for about 2 months and then bam. Was thinking of selling as it now annoys the hek out of me but the car is so economical. I live in SA and have a 2015 1.5 DCI will my car be the same as this?

I can tell from experience that if you get a puncture @70mph on a road with no safe stopping places, the tyre repair kit is as much use as a box of wet matches. Plus, most breakdown insurances insist you have a servicable spare wheel.

Hi dan thanks for a great fitting tutorial. My drivers door speaker had blown AGAIN (i swopped it over from the rear on last time) they are 20 watt speakers fitted in mine. As some have mentioned the base is lacking on these speakers could you recommend better ones pleased as ive no idea what to look for
